We want you completely obsessed with your candle. To keep the love affair going, follow these rules. Yes, rules. Because candles are gorgeous, moody, and a literal open flame, so let's keep things safe and spectacular.
WARNING! Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets.
Safety Instructions
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Never use water to extinguish a candle.
- Before every burn, trim the wick to 6 mm to help prevent soot buildup.
-
Burn times:
- For the first burn, burn for 2–3 hours. Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours.
- Discontinue use when 10mm of wax remains at the base of the vessel.
- Never move a burning candle. Ensure the candle is extinguished, wax is solid, and the vessel is cool before handling.
- Burn candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface. The vessel may become hot during use.
- Avoid burning in drafty areas, near open windows, air ducts, or fans.
- Keep candles away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
- Do not use the lid to extinguish the flame.
Candle Care
- On first burn, allow the candle to burn for 2–3 hours to ensure the wax melts evenly across the entire surface. An even first burn helps prevent tunnelling and supports an even burn.
- Keep wicks properly trimmed and centred to prevent soot formation on the glass.
- Never allow the flame to come into contact with the side of the vessel.
- Do not use if the glass is cracked, chipped, or broken.
- For multi-wick candles, all wicks must be lit each time the candle is used.
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and any foreign materials.
- If the vessel becomes blackened during use, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool completely, and clean with a dry cloth.
- When not in use, keep the candle covered to prevent dust accumulation.
- Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. If unavailable, blow gently and steadily until the flame is out.
- Burn times vary depending on fragrance, environmental conditions, and usage habits.
